nineteenth century laura 115/365

I took some photos inspired by early photography practices and aesthetics, specifically using the look of the Collodion process. My photo history class is really fueling me with inspiration and food for thought.

Laura ventured out with me on short notice and let me throw flour all over her face and for that I am extremely thankful

  3. I have a friend who's working on wet plate collodions for his thesis. I really hope you get the chance to try the real deal some day, they are incredibly beautiful and detailed. Even dry plate tin-types are beautiful, but wet plate collodion is so silvery and stunning.
